Public Meetings

Pursuant to Government Code section 11123, subdivision (a), all meetings of the California Education Interagency Council are open and public, and all persons are permitted to attend any meeting of a state body, except as otherwise provided in that article.

In addition to the physical locations of meetings being open to the public, the Council webcasts meetings to allow for remote participation. Webcast links are posted 24 hours in advance of the meeting. While every effort is made to provide this service to the community, there is no guarantee that the service will work in every instance. 

Disability-related accommodations, such as alternate media materials, sign language interpreters, or real-time transcription, will be provided to persons with disabilities upon request. Language translation services may be provided for public commenters when feasible and when given appropriate notice. Persons requesting such accommodations should email info@ceic.ca.gov at no less than five business days prior to the meeting.
