The Council brings together leaders from TK–12, higher education segments, workforce development, employers, and finance to proactively assess changes in the labor market and improve student pathways to career success. The Council will develop strategic plans, operationalized through work plans, to maximize the impact of federal and state funding, support adult upskilling, align regional education supply with workforce demand, and serve as a forum to address intersegmental and cross-sector policy issues like graduation and admissions standards.
